Thank you for visiting my campaign website. I appreciate the opportunity to ask for your vote for District 32 State Representative. I look forward to representing every citizen in Aransas, Calhoun, Nueces and San Patricio Counties and to being a part of once again helping this region gain influence and respect in the state capital. As your state representative, I will work hard to help reduce the tax burden, protect your Second Amendment rights, bring strong fiscal accountability to state government and fix our broken health care system. I want to find ways to increase border security and bring needed reform to education that supports public schools while expanding opportunities for all our children.  I was brought up in a home that shared the same conservative values you have taught your children and grandchildren – faith, family and hard work. Faith, that there is a higher power who will guide us in our decisions. Family, who sustain us and give our life purpose. And hard work, because that is how we achieve our goals and make a difference. I expect to work hard for your vote and I promise that I will never take you or your support for granted. In the upcoming year, my family and I look forward to learning more about your hopes and dreams for District 32. We want to hear your thoughts about what we can do together to build a brighter future for all of us, our children and our grandchildren. When I left public service in January 1997, after four terms of representing three of the four counties in this current legislative district, it was to help raise and be closer to my small children. I said then that I would one day return to public service when they were older. That time is now.
