Comments from District 32 Republican Party County Chairs:
Former State Representative Todd Hunter filed today for the Republican nomination for the District 32 legislative seat. Below are comments from GOP County Chairs in each county in the districts.
“Todd Hunter is a familiar name to Calhoun County since he previously represented us in the Texas Legislature. Long time citizens tell me that his commitment to constituent services were the best we have ever experienced. And, even though we were among the smallest counties he represented, he treated us with the same respect that he did those with larger voting populations.”
Carolyn Hunt
Calhoun County Republican Chair
“Todd Hunter represents the values of Aransas County. He is a conservative leader who knows the importance of people and carefully considers how the way he votes will affect the daily lives of his constituents.”
Betty Stiles
Aransas County Republican Chair
“Todd Hunter’s experience and the respect he commands in the Texas Legislature will help bring Nueces County and the Coastal Bend needed influence at the state capitol. He will go into office with four-terms of seniority, an outstanding record on bipartisan cooperation and the ability to make an immediate difference on issues important to this area.”
Mike Bertuzzi
Nueces County Republican Chair
“Todd’s leadership on tort reform and coastal issues is still producing benefits for the people of Texas. In addition, his efforts on issues like higher education provided many students in underserved areas such as San Patricio County with new opportunities for advanced learning. District 32 could not ask for a better or more qualified candidate than Todd Hunter.”
