Hunter to Keynote Aransas/San Patricio Lincoln Day Celebration for Republicans
PORTLAND – Republican State Representative candidate for District 32 Todd Hunter will be the special speaker at the Aransas/San Patricio Counties Lincoln Day Celebration Thursday, Feb. 28, at the Northshore Country in Portland. The event will begin at 6 p.m.
Lincoln Day celebrations are held around the country and are the primary annual celebration and fundraising event for many state and county Republican organizations. It is held annually in February or March and features well known speakers from the Republican Party.
“This year we asked Todd Hunter to be our special speaker,” said Betty Stiles, Aransas County GOP chair, “because this race will have an important, immediate impact on working families and residents of these two counties. Todd’s vision, his ability to work to gain consensus and his strong conservative values match those of this district and we are excited about the opportunity to hear from him on the issues that will affect this race.”
“Todd has the experience and seniority in the Texas Legislature to make a real difference for San Patricio County and all of District 32,” said Beverly Moore, past president of the San Patricio County Republican Women’s club and current secretary for the San Patricio County Republican Party. “He knows how to accomplish things in the legislature and he shares our family values and conservative beliefs.”
Aransas and San Patricio counties are two of the counties in District 32. Calhoun County and part of Nueces County are also included in the district.
