Rep. Todd Hunter to be Roasted to Benefit the Leadership Corpus Christi Alumni Association
~Voice actor, Bill Farmer, to be headliner for the event~

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS – Tonight, Rep. Todd Hunter (R-Corpus Christi), dubbed the Man in Black, gets roasted in the “Ring of Fire” to benefit the Leadership Corpus Christi Alumni Association (LCCA).

“This is an occasion to come together and show our support for an organization that promotes education and provides opportunities for the future leaders of Corpus Christi,” said Rep. Todd Hunter. “This is the 4th Annual LCCA Roast showcasing alumni who’ve completed the Corpus Christi Leadership program; it promises to be lighthearted and a good time.”

Nationally known voice actor, Bill Farmer*, will be the headliner for the event. Ruben Bonilla will be serving as master of ceremonies. The night will include a silent auction, cash bar, and guest roasters Texas House Speaker Joe Straus, Fred W. Heldenfels IV, Carol Scott, and Al Jones. Texans for Lawsuit Reform and the Corpus Christi Caller-Times are sponsoring the event to benefit the LCCA.

The Leadership Corpus Christi Alumni Association is a non-profit organization that helps educate and facilitate graduates from the yearlong Leadership Corpus Christi program to utilize their skills in the community. This is the 40th year forthis program organized by the Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce through the Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce Foundation.

The Roast begins at 6:30 p.m., at the Omni Bayfront Hotel, located at 900 North Shoreline Boulevard.

*Bill Farmer is one of the busiest Voice Actors in thebusiness. Bill is best known for his work as Disney’s Goofy and Pluto. He has also played in over 3000 other Disney projects. He is now recording the fourth season of the #1 rated Mickey Mouse Clubhouse seen on the Disney Channel and seen in 162 countries worldwide.
