The Texas Attorney – Mediators Coalition named Rep. Todd Hunter its “Legislator of the Year” with a presentation on June 25, 2013 in Rep. Hunter’s Capitol office. In making the presentation, TAMC Co-Chair Mike Amis of Dallas said, “Representative Hunter has long been an outstanding advocate and mediator. His understanding of the key role court-annexed mediation plays in serving the public and judiciary was critical during this Session of the Legislature. TAMC is a new organization and with Chairman Hunter’s support, we were able to have our voice heard in the Legislature and with the courts. We are pleased to recognize his strong support for court-annexed mediation.”
