Being prepared for hurricane season can help keep your family safe.

Hurricane season officially began on June 1 and will end on November 30. It is during this time that the most tropical cyclones form in the Atlantic basin.

District 32 is included among the 14 Tier 1 counties along the Texas coast. That means Nueces county is most likely to be endangered if a hurricane makes landfall.
